Aave Price Outlook: Can Token Burn Talks Fuel a Breakout Above $200?
A detailed analysis of the cryptocurrency market reveals a significant upward dynamic for the Aave token, which has recently risen toward the $182 level. This move followed an intraday high of $187.50 on October 2, bringing the psychological and technical $200 threshold within accessible range, provided daily momentum continues to intensify.

Regulatory Reach: CFTC Says It Can Oversight Nearly All CommoditiesIn the current context, immediate resistance is marked at $187.50, with the next target in the daily technical grid located at $200. Technical indicators support this bullish outlook: the daily MACD remains in positive territory, while the directional movement index (ADX) on the four-hour chart has risen to 40.62, indicating considerable trend strength. Furthermore, the liquidation heatmap shows a prominent cluster situated just above the current price, in the $188–$189 zone, a factor that may influence future market movements.
Aave’s recent price advance follows key events from late September, including discussions about a potential token burn and the launch of tokenized stock-based collateral on the Aave V4 platform. Although nearby resistance leaves room for a temporary correction, the prospect of a new breakout attempt remains active.
According to TradingView data, on the Binance AAVE/USDT daily chart, the token was trading at $181.66 at the time of the screenshot, recording a gain of $10.22, or 5.96%, for the session. The recorded range varied between $170.77 and $187.50, placing the price below intraday peaks after a strong move that surpassed the $175 level.
The daily chart structure illustrates a recovery from an approximate $60 level in June, followed by a consolidation phase around $85–$100 in July and August. A late-August push drove AAVE above this range, and September brought a new consolidation in the $120–$140 zone before the latest upward surge. This sequence has generated progressively higher recovery lows, carrying the token through several Murrey Math grid levels. AAVE is now trading above the $150, $162.50, and $175 thresholds, leaving $187.50 as the next immediate barrier to overcome.
Session highs have touched this barrier exactly. A sustained move above $187.50 would open a technical path toward $200, a level situated roughly 10% above the price recorded on the daily chart. The $200 threshold also corresponds to a zone where prior rebound attempts failed during earlier declines. Beyond this level, the technical grid identifies additional thresholds at $212.50 and $225. These remain secondary growth scenarios, dependent on AAVE’s ability to clear nearby resistance and sustain the initial breakout.
The four-hour trend remains strong above
The daily MACD supports the upward price structure. The MACD line stands at 11.97, above the signal line at 9.15, with a positive histogram reading of 2.82. Both lines were above zero, and histogram bars extended during the latest advance. This combination gives the daily configuration a bullish orientation, although the pullback from $187.50 shows buyers still facing selling pressure near the next grid level. A daily close above this resistance would offer stronger confirmation than a mere intraday touch.
In case of a retreat, the $175 level becomes the first monitoring point on the daily timeframe. Losing this threshold would bring attention back to the $162.50 level, followed by the higher pivot at $150. A decline through this sequence would weaken the recent breakout and return AAVE to its prior trading zone.
The four-hour trend remains strong above the $168 level. The Binance four-hour chart showed AAVE at $182.08, with the last price bar declining by 0.97%. The correction followed a sharp advance toward the upper end of the $180 range, while the moving average band remained below price.
The 20-period simple moving average sits at $168.17, the 50-period at $157.81, the 100-period at $147.15, and the 200-period at $137.61. Each shorter average remains above the longer one, creating a bullish alignment across the board. Price is approximately 8.3% above the 20-period moving average. This deviation measures how far the latest AAVE rally has extended from its nearest moving average reference and offers a concrete level to watch if the correction deepens.
The chart also shows continued recovery after a mid-September pullback to the $115–$120 zone. Subsequent advances lifted AAVE into the $140 and $150 zones, followed by a late-September move toward $170 and the final test near $187.50.
The ADX value was 40.62 and increasing at the right edge of the chart. This reading supports a strong trend, and the upward price structure, combined with moving average alignment, establishes its bullish direction. A shallow pullback that stays above the recent breakout zone at $175 would preserve the latest upward phase. A deeper decline toward $168.17 would test the shortest moving average, which has turned upward during the rally.
Below this average, $157.81 becomes the next level.
